Up for sale is a men's Viking Compass/Celtic Knot stainless steel jewelry ring. This piece of jewelry was given to me by a relative recently for the sole purpose of selling it and I really don't know its history firsthand. Obviously, it's been preowned, but I haven't any idea just for how long exactly. The ring does exhibit some minor signs of wear on it; such as a spot that's located on the inner band of the ring, but I figure this is only a minor cosmetic blemish; very superficial to say the least, for there's a good chance that it can be easily come off with the right type of polish.
I've seen many similar listings that are similar to the pattern on this ring... obviously listing it as a Viking Compass/Celtic Knot design, however I have yet to see one that has this exact color combination to it. Most other rings out there are either very uniform when it comes to their metal appearance; either being all gold, all silver, etc. whereas this one appears to be a three toned variation... with the band itself being a silver metal while the Celtic Knot and Viking Compass design has a gold finish to it set against a black background which appears to be embossed and/or sunken into the silver part of the ring itself. I'm not really an expert when it comes to jewelry, but this color scheme seems to really set this particular ring apart from the other similar ones I've seen listed online. There's a diameter of empty space within the ring that measures approximately 3/4" wide. When using a ring sizer, I got the measurement of 19/59 (where 19 is the French calibration with the circumference measured in mm while 59 is the American equivalent, with the diameter measured once again in mm). Additionally, the ring itself is about 15/16" tall and approximately 11/16" wide (at its widest point - as it's flared and all) and about 1/8" at its narrowest (which is on the lowest point of the band itself).
