Classic American novel about the Great Depression.  Written by John Steinbeck.  Originally published in 1937 by William Heinemann; this is the Readers' Union edition, published in 1938.  Decorations by Michael Rothenstein.   164 pages.  7.75" x 5".  270g.  Hardback.

Condition: Vintage book, the best part of a century old, still in good readable condition, but showing its age.  Pages are in good condition, except for some age-related discolouration (spotting) mainly on the first few and last few pages.   Hard covers are stained, and the book title on the spine is badly scuffed, and hard to read, as shown.  Overall, in readable condition but not smart.
