Nintendo Fun Club News was a video game newsletter about the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It's editor was Howard Phillips and it was published by NES from 1987 Spring to 1988 Summer. After only seven issues, popularity of the newsletter caused NES switch into more traditional magazine format . The Nintendo Power Flash and Nintendo Power were born in Summer of 1988.
Nintendo Power Flash was published from Summer of 1988 to Fall of 1990 having only total of 9 issues. . A very first Issue of Nintendo Power Flash featured Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! and Issue 9 featured Dr.Mario.
Nintendo Power also started in Summer of 1988 and it featured Super Mario Bros. 2. Nintendo Power was discontinued in printed format in December 2012.
Original Nintendo Fun Club newsletters are very scarce and only a few are being offered for sale in any given year.
Same can be said about Nintendo Power Flash magazines and early issues of Nintendo Power magazines.
Please view the attached photos that cover every inch of the Nintendo Power Flash magazine Issue 2 (Fall 1988) known as Zelda II The Adventure of LINK. There is what looks like no. 3 in a circle on the last page in the area reserved for the postal services. Other than that writing, the magazine is in very good or excellent condition for 35 years old magazine.
