These 3mm thick CNC machined, anodised plates, replaces the mild steel stamped ugly rusty factory plate fitted as standard on XT500 these plates are CNC machined, anodised black, then engraved with a tiny 1mm carbide cutter. The plate smartens up the original petcock on XT500 not sure about the TT500 model fitment, but this plate has M4 bolts on a 36mm pitch with a 18mm diameter holke in the centre. This is a direct replacement to the original. Just unscrew both of the 4mm factory bolts and remove the old plate. Fit the new plate with the new M4 x 8mm stainless steel bolts provided and tighten...job done nice cheap,quick and easy upgrade.
