For sale is this Early English C19th tea bowl and saucer

Most probably by William Smith Of Stockton but no makers marks

Blue and white transfer ware with winged putti cherub riding a lion cow and sheep 

The inside of the cup and saucer border are decorated with grapes and vines

Saucer is marked 83 no markings on the cup

Transfers are bright and vibrant

In very good condition with 2 nicks to the tea bowls foot (pic 13 & 14 )

Discolouration inside of the cup

This cup and saucer were part of the Trevor Kentish Collection

Still has his label on the bottom but the description in ink is very faded and I cannot read it

Bowl measures approx.5 cm in height x 7 cm across base 3 cm

Saucer diameter 12 cm
