For sale is a very rare 1934 Hong Kong Cent graded and certified by NGC as MS-65 RD, which stands for "red" referring to the patina color of the coin. In 1934 Hong Kong was still part of the British Empire so the coin was actually minted in London. This version of the Hong Kong Cent was minted just three years, and this 1934 was the final mintage year. This coin is considered scarce because they minted just 5 million of them. These coins in circulated condition are not particularly rare at all. What makes this coin so rare is its MS-65 RD grade, which is incredibly rare for this coin. It is so rare, in fact, that NGC has only graded a tiny 45 coins to this grade, and only 19 coins have achieved a grade higher than this one. THAT is how rare this coin's grade is. The obverse features Britain's King George V on the obverse and has Chinese writing on the reverse, which reads "One Cent."

As you can see from the pics the coin is in amazing shape. It has a gorgeous golden-red patina to it and all images, lettering, and date is clear and bold. The coin has no major blemishes, and with it already certified by NGC it gives you the confidence of its high grade.

This is an incredibly rare coin that would be on the top shelf of any foreign coin collection!  Thanks!
