Here we have a really nice rare setup from the 1960s Popeye the sailor Man animated series. This lot features the rare character BRUTUS on a hand-painted background. This cell and background came out of the same production folder and the folder came in a group of animation cells and backgrounds from hanna-barbera, Fleischer, Popeye (1950s to 1970s). So this background could be episode matching but at the very least it's a 1960s to 1970s flasher / Hanna-Barbera studios Production background. Purchased from a very knowledgeable animation collector. As you can imagine stuff like this is very hard to find.
