Hawaii/Surf Art Hand Signed Litho-Steven Valiere 19"x 25"
Harbor Graphics, 'Surfing Artists International'
Titled "Stoke''

A quality lithograph printed on acid free paper by Harbor Graphics. I attended an estate sale here by a formerly local Hawaii art dealer who was moving back to Hawaii.
This one is hand signed by Steven in gold ink above the printed signature on the poster which makes it serously rare and just plain cool, but it  has a prominate condition issue- There is foxing throughout. It's only really noticeable on the borders, but it is on the image too. It can only be seen on the image if you turn it towards the light so it is in full glare. It can't normally be seen, but it is there. I was able to remove it partially, but in that process I smudged a little of the ink in the top right corner. This poster is priced taking all of this into consideration at at least half of its' value without these defects. The foxing on the border could be removed by a professional pretty easily, and it is, by my standards, in displayable condition as it is, especially after matting and framing.
Steve is himself a surfer and belongs to Surfing Artists International.
We puchased many surf and Hawaii related works so there will be many others from that sale listed. Check our store!

Stevens' full bio is available at Aloha Images dot com. Here is the opening paragraph!
"After thirty five years of international surfing, Steven Valiere doesn’t just know his subject matter-he’s lived it every day of his life. A self-schooled artist with very little formal training, Steven works in acrylics to create bold, multi-layered surfscapes celebrating the joy of carving fades, gouging bottom turns, deep tube rides and sweeping aerials, done with the grace of a Balinese dancer.  In Valiere’s mythical paradise of no contest, surf camps, or wet suits, aborigines surf in a dream world-The Art of Surfing".

This poster will be shipped rolled.
