THICK HEAVILY RUCHED COLLAR ENVELOPES THE NECKLINE OF THE WEARER. THE RHINESTONE PIN WAS FOUND ATTACHED TO THE COAT AND COULD BE REMOVED IF DESIRED.
NOT ONLY IS THE COLLAR RUCHED BUT IT IS ALSO PIPED AND IS THICK IN VOLUME.
THE RUCHED PIPING ALSO TRIMS THE ARM SLITS ON EACH SIDE. THE INTERIOR IS FULLY LINED IN A HIGH SHINE IVORY SILK VELVET.
CONDITION: A HALF INCH SEAM IS OPEN ON THE SHOULDER AND EACH SIDE OF THE REAR NECKLINE AT SHOULDER LEVEL HAS SEEN A SMALL TEAR. THERE IS A SMALL REPAIR TO THE INNER VELVET LINING AND I PERSONALLY WOULD CONSIDER ADDING A TRIANGLE GUSSET TO EACH SIDE TO REPAIR AS WELL AS STRENGTHEN AND MAKE FULLY WEARABLE. THERE ARE NO OTHER FLAWS THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PIECE.
BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL AND IS TRULY MUSEUM WORTHY.
