About Ocean Sole

Ocean Sole is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the removal and recycling of ocean and waterway waste into remarkable works of art. By engaging in this creative process, we simultaneously support wildlife and marine conservation efforts while providing meaningful employment opportunities in areas deeply affected by environmental challenges.

Your continued support empowers us to make a difference in the lives of over 100 talented artisans, nearly 12,000 resilient Kenyans, and the thousands of young minds across Kenya who we educate about the critical importance of addressing the plastic waste crisis.

These projects help local people gain work and also offers invaluable support in preserving our environment and wildlife. Flip-flops are among the top 10 items of marine debris found on beaches. The numbers are staggering – some estimates suggest that over 200 millions flip-flops are discarded globally each year. Around 400,000 flip flops are prevented from ending up in our Oceans thanks to these projects, therefore making a huge impact in conserving our Planet.
