Deck powers on and all functions seem to be working but it does need new belts.

They are all original and are too loose to function properly.

They are all in place and none are deteriorated, but well past their expiration date.

Play, FF and rewind all start to kick in but go very slowly.

Sound is produced on play.

I have pulled the casing to inspect it (see pics) the inner frame is all metal and extremely well put together.

It will be a bit of a job to replace the belts but will be well worth the work if you want a very unique tape deck!

One side note, on loading a cassette, there is a spring loaded mechanism on the tape door to send the tape upwards to you on eject, but when you load it in it does not lock in and you have to keep the tape held in with finger or something as you close the door.

There is also a bit of delamination on the wood towards the bottom.
