This shoes came from the unsold inventory of a general store in rural Washington state.  The store was opened in the 1930s and closed several years ago.  The family is Japanese so many of the items they sold were from Japan.  Some of the items are folding screens, several dolls, glass cases, and a vast array of misc items.

I do not read Japanese and so cannot read what is on the bottom which I'm guessing includes the size.  The shoes measure 8 1/4" long x 3" wide.  Judging from minor wear on the bottom I'm guessing they were tried on in the store but never worn beyond that.  The main color is an orange/red with black, orange and cream trim.
