Replacing the shift lever is one of the best upgrades you can do for your Grom. The factory linkage system is notorious for its clunky feel and excessive play making shifts awkward and neutral sometimes hard to find. This shift lever bolts directly to the splined shaft of the transmission and eliminates the factory linkage system. By eliminating the factory linkage system you will experience smoother and more precise shifts. This will also move the shift lever farther forward making it easier to shift wearing boots.
