If you're a SNK fan, this is definitely an item you'll want to add to your gaming collection.  When the Neo Geo MVS platform was officially abandoned, SNK moved all of it's franchises to this newer format.  Want to play the newest King of Fighters?  What about Samurai Shodown 6? How about the most famous SNK series, Metal Slug 6?  If so, this is the way to go!  There are some other gems to the system, including Dolphin Blue, Rumble Fish 1/2 & Fist of the North Star; a must-have if you're into arcade gaming.

• Sammy AtomisWave Motherboad (This is the platform SNK used to follow up the MVS [Multi-Video-System].  Originally, this unit ONLY worked in an arcade cabinet, but now the board will play on just about ANY Television/Monitor! You can calibrate the video output to suit your needs; the red, green & blue adjustment dials are accessible from underneath the machine) 

• RGB/VGA Output (this is the best video signal on the console.  The 31khz high-resolution image looks stunning on your LCD, Plasma HDTV, arcade cabinet or computer monitor!) 

• Component Video Output (the clearest signal possible following pure RGB. Must be seen to be believed.  Rivals that of an Arcade Cabinet.) 

• S-Video Output (one of the best analog connections around. If your looking for a sharp visual image, look no further!) 

• Composite Video Output (good old RCA Yellow; this is the most basic video output on most electronics) 

• Stereo Left/Right Output (Yes, you heard right; TRUE Stereo Sound!) 

• Neo Geo Controller Connectors (You can use ANY Neo Geo AES or CD joysticks/controllers with this unit. It has the identical controller ports that are outfitted on the NG AES home systems!! Keep in mind, the AW uses 5 actions buttons, so the Neo's "Select" button will act as the AtomisWave's "5th" or "E" button)

• Fan Replacement (the stock fan is very noisy; the new one is very quiet while still keeping the system cool!)

• Test/Service Buttons (this allows you to access all of the administrator functions, such as game settings, language, controller configuration & more!) 

• Dual Functionality (This unit can still be used in an Arcade Cabinet [via the JAMMA Harness]. The connector did not suffer during the system's transition into a home console!!)
