Stetson “Whippet” Men’s Fedora Vintage Hat

Please look at the measurements on this hat/I took pictures of the opening, which appears to be 6 3/8” x 8” no size tag inside, so use your best judgement on size from my measurements in pictures, please. Rim is 2.5”.

Hat has been box kept, but does have some foxing spots inside-see pictures of interior. Outside of hat in great shape-rim has no damage, ribbon is wrinkled down in one spot-see pictures I took of that-felting looks good, one tiny spot hardly noticeable I took a picture and showed-lots of pics both inside, outside, and every angle-have a look.

I’m not sure what era this hat is from/I was told 1940s, but I’m not 100% sure on exact date, so I’m just calling it “vintage.” No date confirmation for you-by as a vintage, used hat.

Hat is a lighter shade of brown with an olive-brown ribbon. I’m sure this color has an exact name, but I’m calling it a lighter brown.
