Working Principle:
FDR frequency domain method uses the principle of electromagnetic pulse to measure the dielectric constant (ε) of the soil according to the propagation frequency of electromagnetic waves in the medium to obtain the soil volumetric water content (θv).

Modify Own Station Number:
Method 1: Know the current station number and send the following command

There can be no other 485 products on the bus. Use station 0 to operate them. The instructions are as follows: 00 10 10 00 00 01 02 00 03 FA 00
Note: The big characters are the target station number value that you want to modify. The customer calculates the CRC check value by himself.
This sensor uses the FDR method (frequency domain method) to measure soil moisture, which can correspond to the soil volumetric moisture content. The FDR method (frequency domain method) measuring soil moisture is mainly related to the pH of the measured soil, the density of the soil, the soil quality, and the depth of the measurement.
Fault Analysis and Elimination:
1. The sensor output signal is abnormal

Care and Maintenance:
This instrument is a scientific and technological product with excellent design and functional principles, and attention should be paid to maintenance. The following suggestions will help you effectively use maintenance services.
1. Prevent the instrument from being scratched, maintain the integrity of the external protective film, and increase the service life of the instrument.
2. When using the instrument, please fix the connection parts firmly to avoid damage to the instrument.
3. Rough handling of the instrument will destroy the internal circuit board and precise structure.
4. Do not paint the instrument with paint, as the paint will block debris in the detachable parts and affect normal operation.
5. Use a clean, dry soft cloth to clean the outside of the instrument.
6. Regularly check the power supply of other configuration equipment to ensure that the instrument works normally.
7. When cleaning, turn off the power, take out the sensor, and then gently wipe the surface of the sensor and the inner surface of the constant current device with soft filter paper, and then rinse it with clean water. When cleaning, be careful not to scratch the surface of the sensor.

Note:

2. Monitors are not calibrated same, item color displayed in photos may be showing slightly different from the real object. Please take the real one as standard.
3. Before the measurement, the soil with uniform density should be selected as the object to be measured.
4. Do not insert the sensor probe into the hard soil block to prevent damage to the probe.
5. Do not pull the cable directly to move the sensor out of the soil, and hold the soil to be tested in the epoxy outer package with your hand.
6. After use, use a brush to remove dust on the probe, and dry the probe with a soft cloth to protect the humidity probe and increase its service life.
