You are looking at a mixed set of 3 bar cocktail tools with red bakelite handles (bottle opener, knife and cocktail spoon); glass cocktail shaker with chrome and bakelite top; 2 high-ball glasses and chrome jigger. This set is mounted on a chrome stand having red bakelite ring base and red bakelite handle. There are 2 side wings to the stand that originally would have had lidded condiment jars but they now hold the high-ball glasses that match the shaker. These high-ball glasses are hard to find. The metal parts are stainless steel. Marked Glo Hill which is made in Canada. Glo Hill made barware in the 50's to the early 70's inspired by classic Art Deco designs. Excellent quality making.
The stand measures 14" tall and is 7 3/4" diameter across the base. Includes the GH stamped chrome jigger and 2 side wings for holding the slip-in side accessories. These would probably have been covered jars originally for olives or lemon, but they are missing and now hold the 2 high-ball glasses. The glasses are 5 1/2" tall. Applied recipes on the glasses are in excellent condition.
The glass shaker is 8 1/8" tall without the cap; It is 11" tall with the lid to the top of the red octagonal bakelite knob. Minimal wear to the cocktail recipes embossed on the shaker. These include: HiBall, Whiskey Sour, Martini, Bloody Mary, On-the-Rocks, Manhattan, Daiquiri, etc. The accompanying 3 bar tools (cocktail spoon 10 3/4", knife 8 3/4", Opener 8" ) have probabably had their wire rings replaced, as the spoon hang a bit too low when placed on the hooks on the handle. The bakelite and chrome is in excellent condition on the 3 handles.
Overall excellent condition. Metal parts are in great condition. No chips or cracks to the bakelite or glass. Very gently used condition. Very clean and ready to use or display. Guaranteed bakelite and tested.
