Beautiful Blonde Hertwig Pet name China Head doll

Marked Helen on front breastplate in raised lettering, most of the gold paint has worn away same with the face and hair paint

Back of shoulder-plate is marked Pat’d applied Germany

No chips or breaks on the head

Lays approximately 17 1/2” long

Shoulder-head alone is approximately 6” tall and 5” at the widest point.

Straw stuffed cloth Body appears to be a well made but does show typical wear due to age. Some small little holes, one arm is dangling a little, some sawdust coming out

The boots look like composition. One is broke SEE PICS

Hands look to be composition with typical paint wear and cracks. There is a crack and thumb missing on one SEE PICS

Nice dress looks old but not sure if it’s original. The buttons are missing and the previous owner has a small safety pin but some of the dress is stuck in it
