A fine and rare carved ivory cinnabar lacquer on brass vase. The vase is very intricately and ornately carved throughout and is of much finer quality than more commonly found. There are not as many examples carved of this unique ivory color lacquer. Vintage used condition - wear and imperfections mainly found to rim areas consistent with age. No breaks noted.
