Tobacco tin, Caledonian Melange No. 499. Made by Alfred & Christian Petersen in Denmark. Empty tin. Pinhole in bottom where it was tacked to the wall for display. Some light wear to the bottom, sides and top are good. Inside is bright with no corrosion. Size is about 3.5" in diameter and 1.25" deep.
