Vintage 1950's DIE-CUT Gray Figural File Folder or Briefcase HAPPY BIRTHDAY Card

Paper Ephemera 

This is a lovely card, the paper has a texture that makes it feel like worn leather. The front has allover gray color and the top of the file folder or briefcase is printed with a bouquet of roses and daisies. Opening up the card from the top it looks like the inside of a file folder.

The outside of the card is embossed in gold "BIRTHDAY GREETINGS" like its the name embossed on a briefcase

The inside is printed with "Hope You'll Find Birthdays Hold Increasing Joy As Years Unfold!"

5 3/4 inches by 4 3/4 inches when folded

Unused Vintage condition

Free from any writing, rips or tears.

There are some spots on the back but they haven't bled through to the inside of the card

The printing on the inside has left a shadow on the opposite side of the card

The paper is a little wavy from age.
