I’m far from an expert in these, but after a little research, I am guessing this is an early reproduction. Look at the pictures and come to your own conclusion, but I’ll tell you what it think. It is marked j&e stevens. It has old flat screws. It has some wear, rust, and age. The paint doesn’t look as nice or as shiny as original ones I’ve seen pictures of. It seems a little ‘rough’ overall and not super refined. Ask any questions and if you have expertise you want to share, I’d be glad to hear it.


One of the tabs on the coin cap has broken off, unfortunately. I think it could be repaired with some jb weld possibly.
