It is for the LARGER air cleaner, V8, 260 289, that has a LARGE lid that does extendS to the edge of the air cleaner body. If you have the SMALLER air cleaner, where the lid DOES NOT extend over the edge of the body, it will not fit.
The flapper works fine.
