RARE AUGUST 1941 ARIZONA HIGHWAYS BLACK AND WHITE   MAGAZINE -  BILLY THE KID MOVIE - SUPAI INDIAN TRIBE - MANY PHOTOS OF OLD CARS ON THE HIGHWAY AND PARKED IN THE "METROPOLIS" COTTONWOOD, ARIZONA. ALSO AN ATTACHED PULL-OUT ENTITLED "NOTES ON NAVAJO" - PLANES - TRAINS. ARTIST MARTIN GAMBEE.

This Magazine is in very good condition, with some creasing. The Magazine has been folded down the center, but has long since flattened out. There is a 1941 Arizona Map on the Back Cover (see pictures). The Magazine is tightly bound.

This is such a great magazine.  Full of history.  "Billy The Kid" Rides Again shows the movie layout with photos of the stars - Robert Taylor, Brian Donlevey, and Mary Howard. Many westerns have been filmed in Arizona.

In the article, "Navajo County" are photos of the old cars on the 1941 roads, an A. T. and S. F. train (see picture.  Look at the black smoke rolling out.  Environmentalist would have had a field day with this.  Also pictured is TWA's "mighty plane". This was certainly a wonderful era.

There is a great photo of the Navajo Boy Scouts marching in the parade during the Navajo Tribal Fair.
