For sale is this UK original Various Artists vinyl compilation album entitled The Best Of British Folk Music. It contains 12 tracks recorded for the Transatlantic label (see pictures for track listing) and is housed in a fully laminated sleeve. On the Contour label, the catalogue number is 2870-313 and the date of issue is 1973. 

Condition

The vinyl is in Excellent condition. 

The labels are in Excellent Minus condition, clean and bright with clear, perfect printing and only the very lightest of spindle marks and slight bubbling of the label by the spindle hole on Side 1 (see pics).

The laminated cover is in Excellent condition. The spine is complete with clear printing.

All vinyl records are strictly graded according to Record Collector magazine's grading system, the long established UK standard, with any specific flaws mentioned along with the grading. They are sent in custom-made mailers, with built-in or added stiffeners, and are packaged outside their sleeves to prevent edge splits. Singles without a picture sleeve will either have a plain sleeve or a correct-era original (not repro) record company sleeve (stated above). Original record company sleeves may not be the exact sleeve issued with the single so may have a different catalogue number hand-written in the corner but they will be the correct design for the single. They may have a bit of wear, writing, stickers, sticker marks etc but will be in a generally good, useable condition without edge splits or sellotape.
