Offering is for a 1930s, hollow casted, lead, miniature Bloodhound Toy Dog by Manoil / Barclay known for their iconic ‘Dimestore’ soldiers.

Bloodhound Toy Dog is embossed on his left thigh with a ‘M’ inside a circle, 41/24, Made in USA; please see photo.

Measures 3 1/8” long x 1 5/8” tall by ¾” wide.

It's cold paint finish is very worn and there are no cracks or corrosion.

There is an enlarged air hole on its underside which appears to be a manufacturing flaw as original paint can be seen on its edge. It does not affect its appearance when Bloodhound Toy Dog is sitting upright.
