please confirm item model and appearance with photos
This is a figure of RIFLEMAN William, a member of the US Army's 101st Airborne Division SCREAMING EAGLE, manufactured by Dragon Models and released in 2001. The 101st Airborne Division is an airborne division that originated from the 101st Division Headquarters of the NATIONAL ARMY, founded in 1918, but by the time of World War I, single-seat biplane aircraft were still at their peak, and large transport planes were being used. The necessary operation as an airborne division will only take place after the United States enters World War II. ○ In view of the success of Luftwaffe paratroopers in the invasion of Poland by the Chiss German Blitzkrieg, the U.S. military placed importance on their strategic effectiveness, and in 1942 the 101st Division underwent severe paratrooper training. Later it was reorganized into the Airborne Division. -Starting with the Normandy Landings in June 1944, Operation Market Garden in September, and the Battle of the Bulge in December, it was used in major landing operations and defense operations on the Western Front.
