On offer here is a pair of pink Roseville Bookends in the Snowberry style circa late 1940s.

Snowberry is a late period line introduced byRoseville Pottery in 1947. Standard colors include pink, green, and blue. All three colors are sought-after by Roseville collectors. Some of the shapes are Mid-Century Modern, which makes them appealing to collectors. The pattern includes 52 different shapes, including vases, bowls, baskets, jardinieres, pedestals, etc. Snowberry is marked with the raised Roseville script mark, shape number, and size.

In terms of condition, the general appearance of these is excellent. But upon a closer examination you can see that one of the bookends has had some issues and a sub-standard paint repair. And there’s a small chip on one corner. But they look great to my eye, and to make up for the flaws, the price is WAY LOWER than these bookends generally go for. There are a number of photos so you can see exactly what I’m talking about in terms of condition. I think you’ll agree the price is fair.

The photos are of the item being offered for sale, not stock photos, and are from my personal collection in a non-smoking environment.

Enjoy!
