Vintage Handmade Antique Small Wooden Foot Rest Stool
This is a thick heavy handmade rustic piece, it's very primitive with how it's made
It is held together with rounded flat head round screws
The wood looks to be a heavy pine with a very dark stain
It has a lightly padded top. There are two layers of thick upholstery fabric
The original layer is a dark brown and the top layer is a lighter color
The fabric is held to the wood with nails and upholstery brads.
There are two trim pieces of brown upholstery fabric, they are barely attached due to age and use
Measurements are:
14 inches long
8 inches wide
8 inches tall
1 inch thick wood
5lbs 7oz weight
It is in very primitive used condition
The upholstery has a heavy aged patina and has some rips, as mentioned the trim pieces are barely hanging on
The edges of the wood are banged, dented and there are places of splintering in the wood.
There is a cross piece that has been replaced on the underside
