Stunning Custom Adams E3 Euphonium in Vintage Lacquer Available Now!
This E3 is direct from Adams. It was at a trade show and shows a few slight, and light, surface scratches in the finish and there is a small ping in the inside of the bell (see photos) - none of which affect the playability of this magnificent instrument!
This euphonium is available now (currently custom euphoniums are estimated at 9-12 months wait).
The Adams euphoniums have a resonant, powerful tone with incredible presence. The Adams E3 Euphonium is a completely different design from the E1 and E2, with a different bell form, bottom bow, first bow, and leadpipe. This design gives the E3 a rounder, darker sound. This euphonium is a yellow brass bell (0.60 gauge thickness)
The Adams Euphonium is characterized by a majestic body, a beautiful transparency, and great tone projection. The patented Adams receiver enables you to regulate the color, timbre and playing comfort of the instrument. The "gap" between mouthpiece and leadpipe is adjustable.
