Ludwig 400 Supraphonic 5x14 Aluminum Snare 1966 Custom Copper Powder Coat Finish.

This is a 1966 Ludwig Supraphonic with keystone badge, and a beautiful, lustrous custom copper powder coated finish. The keystone badge has serial number 3741xx. It features, red baseball bat muffler tone control, P83 snare strainer/throw off, Ludwig snares & chord, brand new heads. While the shell is beautifully smooth, and in very good condition, there are some pitting and mild corrosion on the lugs, and hoops. Please view pictures for details. Most importantly, this vintage ‘60’s Supraphonic functions and tunes up with great ease, and has that iconic Supraphonic tone. This fine beauty would make a great workhorse snare for any musical application you choose.
