Antique Littlefield, Parsons & Co Daguerreotype Case. Made of gutta percha thermoplastic. This union case has an oval shape with a floral design.Brown color  Outer case is in excellent condition with only minor wear.  The inside holds no photo. The velvet is worn and aged and the inside label also shows age. There is no glass. It will hold a sixth plate photo. A photo of your choice can easily be placed inside. The glass is likely not difficult to replace. Please see photos for details and measurements.
