The Gauge POD is designed to integrate smoothly with the interior and panels on the sides. For installation, if there's a sunglasses holder in your center dashboard console, the area for the cigarette lighter and buttons will need to be removed. A coping saw or a similar type of tool can be used to make this cut cleanly. Equipped with four plastic clips at its base, the Gauge POD attaches behind the area you've just cut. Additionally, it features a ledge that connects to the OBC unit above and snaps into place with two clips on each side, directly fitting into the center dashboard. Once in place, this gauge pod complements the BMW E36's interior, appearing as if it were an original factory-installed part.
