Beautifully painted large Japanese Kyoto Satsuma vase with two cartouches depicting figural scenes, framed by an intricate background with oversized butterflies and various geometric designs.

Good condition with couple of small inconspicuous firing defects on the foot and the rim. Line inside the neck is mostly covered up by the decoration on the outside so barely noticeable.
