This is for a Wonderful condition Antique Silver Plated Butter Dish / strainer / footed serving piece. The only marks I could find on this are the numbers 12 05 (the 12 could be for marking of silverplate) and perhaps a marking that states "Co" above the numbers. There is also a V and a 4 on the bottom rim.

This measures approx 7.5 inches tall when lid closed x 11 inches wide x 8 inches deep. It has the two original inserts - a solid one and a slotted decorated one and these measure approx 8.5 inches wide x 6.25 inches.

The lid rolls back and underneath completely and works perfectly. The feet of this highly decorated item are animal paws while the lid is decorated with flowers and tufting. The silver plate is in lovely condition with no noted missing spots or dents! This piece has been well taken care of over the years for certain. This can be used as intended or perhaps with candles in it or fresh flowers would also be lovely and accent the piece perfectly.
