This is a gold-rimmed CRESCENT BONE DISH, 6-1/4" by 4".

 Buffalo Pottery of Buffalo New York used the backstamp on this item in the 1915 era.  The design is transitional from Victorian into the Arts & Crafts era they became noted for.
