There were milk men, and garbage men, policemen, firemen, ombudsman (personal fav), lineman, etc. You sensing a pattern, ladies? Yeah, up until about 1985-86, you gals had it pretty easy. What with just laying around all day, doin nothing until your man gets home and you can fix him a scotch & soda. Oh, but don't use too much soda. You remember what happened last time. Jim was upset and had to teach you a lesson. The hard way. Yeah, the good ol days.
