Counties and their Industries. A set of 24 cigarette cards nicely displayed in a maple frame.

The set was issued by John Player, in 1914 - 1915.
Each card shows a map of a county, and below it, an image of an industry relevant to that county. Many now out-of-date: not much coal mining left in South Wales, nor cotton spinning in Lancashire, etc. etc.

Lovely artwork. The only county missing from the original set is Kent (presumably to retain the balance in the framing).

An unusual item for the map collector, with a poignant reminder of what used to be. Displayed in a lovely maple frame, with details of each card on the back of the frame.
All photographs taken through glass - there may be reflections.

Size: the frame measures approx. 47cms x 42cms.
Condition: Frame with a few small marks, but generally this is a good set nicely displayed. Please study my photographs.

Postage: £7.00 within the UK. £15.00 to Europe, £38.00 to USA etc.
I have other antique maps, books, prints etc. in my ebay shop - please see my other items.
