You are buying a old M-61 Traje de Lanzamiento Camuflado, or as it used to be called "uniforme de salto", a para smock coat with brown dominant amoeba camouflage. Also referenced as rocoso or fall/autumn-time amoeba. Used exclusively by Brigada Paracaidista, or commonly known as BRIPAC, since the mid-60s to the early 80's. Specifically, it began to be used from the year 1961. This uniform was also seen being worn by other special operations and paratrooper units but on very rare occasions. Legionnaires or green berets when they did the parachutist jump course.

The garment consists of a heavy paratrooper style smock made from a heavy, windproof canvas style fabric. These are uniforms from a bygone era, with so many features and a high complexity, something that was surely time-consuming to manufacture and won't likely find today in the era of disposable synthetic uniforms and automated manufacturing.

The smock is packed with pockets and features: on the front the most striking are the two vertically zippered chest pouches and below them - two cargo pockets with metal snap closures. There are small zippered pouches on the sleeves for field dressings. On the back near the waist are two large utility pouches with 3 metal snaps each. Internally, there is a waist cinch plus cord at the hem plus another one to adjust at the bottom. The armpits have large cut-outs for ventilation. In the neck, hidden under the flap, there are five metal snaps to attach the hood.

Definitely one of the best in codition that have passed through my hands. In addition, it is complete: it includes the padded shoulder pads on the inside and the shoulder eppauletes. I have not observed any damage, no hole, no tear, no rip. The colors remain strong and bright, it has probably never been washed and this has preserved it that way. All zippers, by ICI Relámpago brand, working properly. All buttons present and original. Fortunately, it also has the manufacturer's ink stamp "Maristany Fabril Textil S.A." still visible. You can still read T-3 or size 3 (European medium-small). The dimensions are as follows:

• shoulder - approx. 50 cm (19.68" in.)
• arm (armpit to sleeve cuff) - approx. 52 cm (20.47" in.)
• back - approx. 72 cm (28.34" in.)
• weight - 1220 gr
