Moon JJ5 ASH WHITE PG (1990) MOON JJ5 that seems to be from the 1990s The JJ-5, equipped with Bartolini's pickup and preamp, revolutionized bass sound. It was used by many players at the time. The most popular color in the 80's was see-through red, but in the 90's natural colors became more popular. The combination of gold parts with this is very MOON-like, isn't it? Originally, the pickup was mounted with a hum-canceling Bartolini 59V, The wire broke due to deterioration over time, so I mounted a new Bartolini 59J1 set, resulting in a deeper and more present sound. (Bartolini pickups are also evolving rapidly) Even when using one pickup, the noiseless and vivid sound is attractive. The preamplifier has a built-in "TBT" which is popular with "TCT". It's a pleasant piece with a sparkling brilliant sound and a ``very'' sound with a deep bass range. There is no major damage to the wood such as the body or neck.
