Schneider-Kreuznach Retina-Curtar-Xenon red C 1:4/35mm, für M39 | Vintage lens
Das Objektiv stammt aus einer Kodak Retina Reflex (Typ 025), einer deutschen Kleinbildkamera aus den Fünfziger Jahren.
Das Objektiv hat jetzt ein M39-Gewinde und kann an einer modernen Digitalkamera mit einem M39-Adapter genutzt werden. Fokussierung und Blende müssen von Hand eingestellt werden. Die Kamera stellt dann automatisch die korrekte Belichtungszeit ein.
An einer Meßsucherkamera wird die Entfernungseinstellung nicht zur Kamera übertragen.
Das M39-Gewinde und der hintere Gehäuseteil sind aus Kunststoff und wurden mit einem 3D-Drucker hergestellt.
Das Frontelement kann ausgetauscht werden. Es gab damals noch ein Retina-Xenon C 1:2,0/50mm und ein Retina Longar-Xenon C 1:4,0/80mm. Die ebenfalls verfügbaren Rodenstock-Objektive passen nicht.

This lens comes from a Kodak Retina Reflex (Type 025), a german camera from the Fifties.
Now the lens has a M39 thread mount and can be used on a modern digital camera via a M39 adapter. You set the focus and the aperture, the camera takes care of the correct shutter speed.
You can use the lens on a Rangefinder camera but the Rangefinder itself will not work.
The M39 thread and the rear part of the lens are made of 3D printed plastic.
The front element is interchangeable. Available were a Retina Xenon C 1:2.0/50mm and a Retina Longar-Xenon C 1:4.0/80mm. The Rodenstock variants of this camera do not fit.
