After the occupation of the Philippines by Japan in 1941, the Manila mint ceased operation.   Coins dated 1944 and 1945 were minted in the US Mints at Philadelphia (no mint mark), Denver (D mint mark) and San Francisco (S mint mark).  Historic and Collectible coins at a price that won't break the bank.
