By simply operating the macro switch at the telephoto end, you can take full-fledged close-up macro shots of small subjects such as flowers and insects. While achieving a minimum focusing distance of 0.2 m and a maximum magnification of 0.7x, the camera is equipped with the Hybrid IS image stabilization mechanism, which is powerful during close-up shooting, enabling high quality close-up photography with minimal camera shake.
