For sale is a pair of 19th century hand carved and notched oak wooden basket handles. The handles measure app. 7.25" wide at the open end and 7.75" in length. The notch cut-outs are just under 1" long and about .25" deep. The handles are nicely carved with a patina that only time can provide. There are no breaks, cracks or repairs.
These are fine examples of Americana - to repair your basket or simply to use as farmhouse decor.
