Detroit's Sylvan Toilet Co. registered and marketed numerous health & beauty products during the 1890's.
Antique bottles can be found embossed: CURLOLA / SYLVAN TOILET CO. / DETROIT, MICH./ Juvenalis for Hair... etc.
"Each glove is put up in a handsome case, and accompanying it are a pot of Cold Cream ... use of Mask."
"A device which fits nicely onto the face... beautifying and protecting...." ... Face Glove... doesn't wear out...."

The 1890's Madam Rowley Face Mask print ads are very similar in style and claims to this Sylvan advertising card.
Undated, but appears to have been issued circa 1890's - an original antique quack advertising trade card.
Sylvan Toilet Co., 727 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich., started up around 1889. Bottled cosmetic and hair products
included Curlola, Juvenalis, Eau De Quinine, Perfumes, etc. - Don Fadely's Hair Raising Stories web site
