For sale is a very nice #4 S. NEWHOUSE DOUBLE LONGSPRING TRAP.  Trap measures 19" with chain, 45".  Both springs are strong and stamped.  The pan reads very well and it has the patent date of Sept. 26, 1911. It has the Split Posts which dates this trap back to around 1914!  Comes with an original 1978 MISSISSIPPI REFUGE Trap Tag and Trappers ID Tag.  This trap has been skillfully cleaned and will make a great addition to anyone's collection or mancave.  This trap was mainly designed for Beaver but also Coyote and even Wolf.  Please view all pictures and ask any questions before purchase.
