The Park" is a collection of photographs by Japanese photographer Kohei Yoshiyuki. Kohei Yoshiyuki, a native of Hiroshima Prefecture, moved to Tokyo in the early 1970s with aspirations of becoming a professional photographer, and his illustrations of couples gathering in a park at night to make love were featured in the magazine "Weekly Shincho. Since 1978, he has been working as a freelance photographer. This book was published on the occasion of an exhibition held at Yossi Milo Gallery in New York in 2007, and is an English version of his first photo book "Document Park" published in Japan in 1980. This series of photographs of "voyeuristic" scenes in parks was shot using infrared film and infrared strobes. This unique series, which captures the couple making love and even the people sneaking a peek at them, has been highly acclaimed worldwide.
