Fender Classic Series '60s Stratocaster LPB 1999 (1999)

Fender Classic Series ;60s Stratocaster LPB 1999s

[Upgrade the sound with TEXAS SPECIAL & VANZAND]
The Ensenada factory in Baja California, Mexico has been producing guitars since 1989.
There is technical guidance from Fujigen from Japan, and a master builder from a custom shop visits regularly, so the quality is solid.

Rear and center pickups were changed to TEXAS SPECIAL, and front pickups were changed to VANZANDT (probably VINTAGE PLUS).
Vintage capacitor commonly known as [GREENIE] Replaced with CORNELL DUBILIER PM2S22.
This is a Stratocaster with upgraded sound.

[Uses USA standards and USA parts]
The body material is alder, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard.
This is a series that has been on sale since 1999, and is a classic series from the first year.
Since 1997, when Fender Japan was treated as Kanda Shokai, the USA lineup began to produce models that were not entry class at the Ensenada factory in Mexico.
As it debuted as a lineup that can be said to be the middle point between Fender Japan's ST62 model and USA's American Vintage 62 reissue,
This classic series was the first to use USA standards and USA parts, rather than the original standards of the Mexican lineup, which were neither millimeters nor inches, as seen in Mexican standards.
Although it is not a lacquer top like American vintage
Unlike the standard, the pick-up counterbore is also shaved along the pick-up, and unlike the current VINTERA, the inside is well coated with paint, reproducing the specifications of the 1960s.
One of the best items is that the neck joint has no dents from the large hole caused by the manufacturing process.

[Tenacious midrange sound and clear sustain]
The rear and center pickups were changed to TEXAS SPECIAL, and the front to VANZANDT (probably VINTAGE PLUS).
Replaced the capacitor with CORNELL DUBILIER.
TEXAS SPECIAL, which is characterized by a tenacious midrange sound and a feeling of bite, and VANZANDT, which is characterized by a tight tone and transparent sustain.
This is a Stratocaster with an upgraded sound that can be used in a wide range of genres.

The condition is that the neck is almost straight.
There are scratches from use and dullness of metal parts due to age.
You can also see some tanning on the body color and neck due to age.
The back panel of the body is missing.
There are no problems with operation or sound.
The strings are adjusted with a gauge of .009-.042.
The rest of the rod can be tightened or loosened to adjust the neck.
The neck has been adjusted to be almost flat.
The string height is approximately 1.7mm for the 1st string and approximately 1.8mm for the 6th string at the 12th fret.
Accessories include Fender soft shell case and arm.
