The prototype is the electric locomotive Re 4/4" of the Swiss Federal Railways in TEE Colors. The Re 4/4" are universally usable locomotives and accordingly can be seen in front of passenger and freight trains. The locomotives of the Re 4/4" series are with 277 machines the largest number of traction vehicles of the SBB and were commissioned from 1964 until 1985.

This model, which was manufactured in recent years, features a nem dcc 6 pin connector which allows you to easily add a decoder when you are ready.
