The model that has just arrived is the full acoustic model "EXL-1", which bears his name. The 17-inch wide laminated spruce top, laminated flame maple body, and a 3-piece neck (maple & walnut) with a pau ferro fingerboard are joined in a set neck structure. (14 fret joint, 22 fret specifications, 25.5 inch long scale) In addition to the gold parts and tortoiseshell pattern pickguard, D'Angelico's original steer step tailpiece and rod cover make it very attractive with its unique presence.
